PORTRAITS OF ENGENHEIRO COELHO

This printed photographic album was published by the Municipal Government of Engenheiro Coelho, representing the first step toward recovering the iconographic memory of the municipality.

We hope that all interested individuals will search their drawers and archives for many other meaningful images that can make up another volume and contribute to the collection of the future Memory Center that we intend to establish.

The seed has been planted so that we may harvest fruits that contribute to the cultural enrichment of the community. We believe that this publication may also encourage the development of a critical body of knowledge, aimed at gathering data that contributes to understanding the history of Engenheiro Coelho.

Without a doubt, this first volume also aims to facilitate access to information about the foundation and development of our community, not only for students in the municipal school system but for the entire population.

It is the duty of every public administrator to understand that a people who have records of their true references will be properly qualified to contribute to the growth of their community.
